A lot has happened since the last update. You can ask for more detailed information on our forum but here are a few key facts:

First of all there has been a change in our lineup. Angela realized a while a go that metal isn't her true passion and all we can do is respect that. While that was quite a shock to the band there was no question about whether we wanted to continue the journey we had begun.

After losing some hair over the situation we finally found what we were looking for. Or she found us to be exact. It was clear from the get go that we couldn't find another Angela but we needed to find a competent singer in general. We didn't need to go public to find interested singers to audition and interview but we also didn't want to rush into choosing a singer whom we weren't completely confident in. Jaana already knew Anna and was curious about the situation. Jaana is a classically trained soprano and an experienced performer and it didn't take long to convince us that it was time to start a new era with the new Evilion.

To make things a bit more complicated Anna is also leaving. Not from the band but from the country. She has gotten an opportunity to study with one of the greatest professionals in Europe, Joanna Borowska, and she is leaving for Austria in a couple of months.

We have a single live show before Anna leaves and we haven't yet decided how we want to deal with live gigs while Anna isn't available. New material is in the works and we will be releasing it one song at the time to cut the wait a bit shorter and to make it possible for us to work while Anna is abroad for most of the year.

The gig is at Hellä, Tampere on the 7th of September with Beautifully Betrayed and Soulgrind.
